“ALT Joins ‘SET Carbon Sandbox 2024’ Initiative, Aiming for Net Zero to Achieve Sustainable Balance Between Business and Environment”

ALT Telecom Public Company Limited has joined the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s “SET Carbon Sandbox 2024” initiative, a carbon data management system testing program for listed companies. The initiative aims to test and refine strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions within organizations. ALT is among 20 companies selected to participate in this program, reflecting the company’s strong commitment to minimizing environmental impact while achieving a sustainable balance between business growth and sustainability for the world.

ALT’s join in the SET Carbon Sandbox initiative aligns with its strategy to enhance Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, ensuring responsible operations toward society and the environment. The company has also received a Verification Statement from ISO (MASCI) for its 2023 greenhouse gas emissions and absorption report, which covers all ALT groups.

Mrs.Preeyaporn Tangpaosak, President of ALT Telecom Public Company Limited, said that this an important step in driving toward achieving ALT’s net-zero greenhouse gas emissions goal and driving positive change for both the organization and society.

Short-term goals (2023-2024)


 Enhancing knowledge and join in the ESG DNA Project, to create an organizational culture that cares about the environment. The company prioritizes detailed collection and analysis of greenhouse gas emissions data to gain an understanding of emission sources across all dimensions. This will help develop long-term strategies for reducing emissions and a target of a reduction of greenhouse gas 5-10% within 2025.
